Hey Im looking to build my first computer and am unsure which Mobo would go best with this set up. Im looking to spend 950-1000$ in total for the full computer.

Currently I have a Asus P8B75-V selected but I have no idea if this is a good fit or if I'm completely off the mark.

Heres the build I'm currently using

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Both boards are good. I am a bigger fan of the Z77 chipset since if you move up to the Intel® Core™ i5-3570K you will at least be able to take advantage of the ability for it to be overclocked. Maybe a board like the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 or the Intel DZ77SL-50K would be work for you but they are a little more money.

I get the $1,000 budget, but build is a tad unbalanced. You'll run out of storage in no time flat, so I'd up my budget and look at a 128GB SSD or larger and with a new 1TB~2TB 7.2K HDD.

Agreed for the money the i5-3570K + ASRock Z77 Extreme4 is a good value combination.

For a non-K CPU save your $28 on the EVO it isn't needed and the stock HSF works fine.
