Asus ips 27" or samsung curved 27"
ASUS 27" IPS LED MX279H
or
SAMSUNG Curved LS27D590CS

i am a full time freelancer and professional graphics designer.. i dont play games but i watch hd movies everyday... i spend around 10hrs per day in computer....

so many reviews saying 1920 x 1080 res is not enough for 27" is it true? Shall I go for 24" or 25" or 27" is fine?

About pixel density and size, it's mostly a matter of how good your vision is, and how far you sit from your monitor. Personally i can live with a 1080p 27" monitor, but if i didn't play games i would have get a 1440p monitor instead for sure (got 1080p because my GPU can't handle games in 1440p).

Just a few word about the asus mx279h. I owned it for about 2 weeks but ended up returning it. It uses PWM, which makes the backlight turn on and off hundreds of time per seconds to simulate lower brightness when it's not set at 100%. Alot of people, including me, suffer headache and eyestrain from that, so since you spend alot of time on your computer, i'd strongly advice getting a monitor that is advertised as "flicker free"/"non flickering"/"anti-flickering".
