So I am upgrading from an old cheap AOC 1600 x 900 monitor.
I am looking for a monitor that is good for watching videos/tv/movies, good for high end games (such as GTA 5, Watchdogs etc), good for doing website designing / app development, and good for web surfing. I am interested in the Asus VG248QE and the DELL U2414H. I was going to get the Asus monitor, but was put off by the fact it was a TN panel, which apparently has washed out colours, and the overall picture is not as good as an IPS monitor. I don't know what to get at the moment. What would be the best monitor under £250 with my use cases.
