What monitor to get?

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to upgrade my old 21" LG monitor and I am looking for a 24" monitor under $300 and I play mostly tactical shooters. What monitor should I get?

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I live in Canada and the same monitor is $330. I might be able to make it work but I'm wondering if there is a negligible difference between those within the $200-300 range and this monitor.

Thanks! I've read some mixed reviews about the Acer GN246HL, is it worth investing in a better monitor for gaming or is the Acer GN246HL a great monitor?

after doing some research I've read that with the GTX 970 I want to stick with a 60hz monitor? If this is correct which 60hz monitor should I get? I want to make the purchase today as it looks like some of the sales might end.
