Hi guys,

Just need some advise picking a motherboard, as my previous one is fried and am upgrading CPU/Mobo/RAM.

I also have a 1080TI & 4k Monitor to go with this.

Don't have much to spend on this (around £300/350), but was thinking of going AMD 2600 and overclocking it.

What motherboard should I be looking to get? I also do not have access to a wired internet connection, so if it has a built in wireless card that would be a bonus, if not I will probably pick one up from Amazon for £20

I also found this on scan:

^ Worth it?

Thanks.

I think I'd take the Pro Carbon over that board as the MSI X470 GAMING PLUS is at the very low end of the X470 chipset. Doesn't even offer some of the features like increased power phases that most X470 boards have. That board only has a weak 4 phase power design. Plus, it lacks Wi-Fi while the Pro carbon has very good wi-fi.

For me, it would be a pass, as in, I'd pass on that model.
This would probably be a better way to go, although I agree that the B450-F is a perfectly fine board. This however is not much more than that bundle, AND it includes the RAM, plus it has Intel Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO integrated.

Considering the price, and the fact I dont know much about motherboards, would this be better one then whats suggested above?
