What Nvidia Graphics Card Should I Buy?

Hi, i`m looking to buy a new Nividia graphics card, but i`m not sure about the best one to buy for my PC Spec. I was thinking about the series 8 or series 9, here is my PC spec, tell me what you all think.

It is old your pc, but if you need a better GPU go with ATI 4670, better than anything Nvidia will throw at it for the price, and the most you should spend/install on your system.

Set your budget - or adjust budget to your screen resolution lol - and pick out your card.

If you are trying to game on that computer, you will be limited due to specs.
If you tell us what games you are trying to play and what res you play at, we will be able to help you better.

Also, if you could post the amps on the power supply, that would also help.

Well it says on the connector that goes into PC it says- 10A250V!basically i`m trying to use unreal editor(for Unreal Tournament 3), but the card I have at the mo is incompatible with it!and in future I want to maybe use the editor in Unreal 4!(i`m a sound Designer, well hoping to be!lol)

Make sure you have Pci-express and not AGP. If you have AGP your going to be limited on the cards you can get.

as said, ATI 4670, its PCI Express, doesn't require external power so wont need power supply replacement, will be top performer (probably a little bottlenecked) with your CPU , dx10.1 card, and cheap to buy, its the one.

EDIT: I do a lot of GPU upgrades for customers with similar systems to you who don't want new and shiny, just a bit more performance in newer games, they generally are not hardcore gamers. What I know is that from experience the hd4670 will be the best match especially power requirements wise.

Alright, cheers for that mate, I was just wondering, if I bought that card with 1Gb of memory as opposed to a card with 512mb of memory would I need a bigger power supply to accommodate for that?

Unlikly as they both would just draw power form the pcie lane unless it needed a 6 pin in which case i wouldn't buy it. Also gaming performance from 512 to 1 gig is very minimal esp with your limiting cpu factor.
