what os should I get

I don't know what os I should get. I have always preferred windows 7 desktop over windows 8 start up screen but windows 8 is one click away from the desktop. So I am not sure what is worth getting windows 8 or 7. As soon as windows 10 comes out I will be upgrading to that.

Either. And Win 8.1, you can easily default that to boot directly into Desktop mode. Not even a 'click'.
