Hey guys I am an AVID PC gamer. Looking for what parts I can upgrade in my pc to get the maximum boost in performance (FPS) in games. I want to keep it under $900. Here is a list of my parts. What do you think I should upgrade?

CPU I7 9700k
GPU RTX 2070 6GB
32 GB DDR4 RAM
700W PSU
MSI Z370 Gaming Plus Motherboard
1 TB Samsung SSD

Solution
What motherboard would you suggest?
If you aren’t having issues then leave it alone. Your current board has a pretty mediocre VRM, but again, if it’s running fine I’d leave it be. If you are actually noticing your 9700k isn’t hitting AND maintaining its boost speeds, then I’d look at any Gigabyte Aurous board. They all have 14 stage VRM. ASUS Maximus boards are pretty good as well. I wouldn’t buy an MSI z390. ASRock Taichi, Taichi Ultimate or Phantom Gaming 9 are solid choices as well.
