What parts should i upgrade in my computer

Hey guys,
So i'm new to gaming on computers so i know pretty much nothing about computers so i need help, badly. I'd like to know what parts i should upgrade first in my computer to intensify my gaming experience.
so far all i know about my computer is:
2.40 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Motherboard
Corsair XMS 5gb RAM

if you guys coiuld tell me what parts that i have are good and If you guys could help me with Recommendations on what parts i should upgrade from greatest to least or any recomendations that will improve my gaming experience it would be much appreciated

you motherboard has a socket 775 and uses DDR2 memory; therefore, it cannot use and i3, i5, or i7

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Motherboard is a 2007 model. It is okay for general computing but for gaming I would suggest you get a new motherboard and CPU.

if you get a new motherboard and CPU, you also new new memory since the DDR2 will not work on motherboards with i5.

if it means anything, i can run Skyrim,fallout 3 and new Vegas on ultra setting and it runs smooth, and most other games on high and all of my games are modern day games. i don't know if that'll mean anything right now but for now until i get the money to upgrade i think i can hang on
