What power supply should i go for ? i5-6500/ASUS STRIX RX 480 OC

Hello guys, so i don't know what psu should igo for ?
I'm searching a 55$ POwer supply.
I have an i5-6500, MSI H110M Gaming MOBO and an Asus STRIX RX 480 OC Edition.
I'm so confused guys. I'd like something that is all black, so no orange/yellow cables anywhere. Just a Modular cables look like. But semi-moudilar or none

But people told me that i should hava a minimum 550W PSU ?

180w max GPU (under furmark testing)
85w max CPU
80w (system wide power ) - massively over estimating this.

345w.


Cx450m will manage that easily , under gaming conditions its doubtful you'll even be touching 300w mate.

Oh Thanks but if i want to do some overclocking for the GPU (cuz it's an OC Version ) will it be alright ?

The 480's don't overclock that well mate ,the Asus is already fairly heavily overclocked.

If you could push it to its theoretical limits its still hardware limited to 225w max - so yes the cx450m is still absolutely fine.

IF you were running an unlocked / overclocked 8 core fx chip I'd be pushing you towards a 550w too.
You're not though , you're running an efficient locked intel & that makes a big big difference to system wide power draw.

Bear in mind im talking about that exact PSU mate , not the 430 & not the 500w models.

Thanks mate. But what is the difference between it and between the SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze EVO Edition ? Is there any big difference ?
I have a basic build

M12 has modular cables , s12 doesn't - not any real difference on quality etc though.

OOPS MATE,WRONG THREAD REPLY.

Was dealing on another psu thread here about the seasonic s12 520w & answered by mobile to a thread email response.
The seasonic is better mate,thats an absolute fact.

Its normally at least 25-30% more expensive though in which case I would personally still opt for the cx450m.
