Yeah, I think you are right because I could see massive amounts of dust in the PSU area of the case, not to mention the CPU is probably overheating. No wonder it runs Roblox at less than 30 fps. (my younger siblings were complaining that Roblox was too laggy on the PC) well, actually the Intel HD 2500 graphics are probably the reason. It *might* be. Like the consequences would be hidden for a long time if you ate a pound of bacon every morning for breakfast, internal damage can be caused *long* before it causes anything visible such as parts failing or sudden power off.
Well, I'm not sure about that. I mean efficiency and lifespan are not the same thing. You would be better off buying a well-built gold-rated unit and save (invest?) the difference in price and in 7 or so years time buy another one.I know that PSUs become less efficient over time, so would splurging on a high-efficiency PSU (80+ titanium) increase lifespan?
I think you should buy the 850W Super Flower Leadex III that Zerk2012 suggested earlier. You can't buy them here in the UK for some reason which is a shame.I know that PSUs become less efficient over time, so would splurging on a high-efficiency PSU (80+ titanium) increase lifespan?
My old HP prebuilt had a proprietary PSU 80+ platinum PSU. It really is a shame that it was proprietary and only 400W. If it had not been proprietary and 700W I could have reused it.Well, I'm not sure about that. I mean efficiency and lifespan are not the same thing. I agree, but if at all possible I would love something a little bit closer to $100 on amazon. (It's listed on Amazon at $143 which is a little steep for me right now.)I think you should buy the 850W Super Flower Leadex III that Zerk2012 suggested earlier. I would suggest this then:I agree, but if at all possible I would love something a little bit closer to $100 on amazon. (It's listed on Amazon at $143 which is a little steep for me right now.)

A highly efficient power supply from Cooler Master.www.tomshardware.com
This is the one I would get if you can increase the budget a little:Looks like a B-tier? I can't find the exact model on the tier list.
I know that you should never cheap out on the PSU, but that is about the cheapest possible unit that will actually handle a modern gaming PC.The unit seems to be decent. It's under the speculative position because there are no proper reviews.
