Hello, I would like to know how many different types of RAM can I insert into my PC?
And what specifications I should search for when looking for compatible RAM for my other slot?

But the general type of RAM you need is DDR4 SODIMM RAM.

SODIMM Is generally used in laptops and normal DIMM is whats in desktops.

Since this is DDR4, I would get a literally identical Samsung/Lenovo part. Or else you may have to buy a set of 2x modules.

If I'm buying a kit of 2, what are the limits of compatible ram?

Max of 32Gb, so 2x4Gb / 2x8Gb / 2x16Gb DDR4-2400MHz SoDimm

I'd not recommend trying to use faster ram as that puts more stress on the memory controller, which equals higher heat output.
