What Ram do i have to add

Hello all, I have a pc with 2 modules of ram Samsung 1GB 1Rx8 PC3-10600U...i want to add 4GB more ram...but i don't know which one is compatible with my modules..how do i check that..thank you in advance !!

PC3 means it is DDR3 which means you would have to put in DDR3 memory modules, and the 10600 roughly equates to 1366MHz speed.

ok..so i can't add a module which will be above 1366MHz ???

You should be able to, but systems do typically run better with the same size and frequency DIMM's.

It's 1333 and to know what you can run would need the mobo and CPU you are using (also it's 1333 not 1366)

thank you for your response... my mobo is hp compaq 6000 PRo SFF PC
my cpu is DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E8400,3000MHz (9x 333)
