Based on this page -- https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/epyc/7601#Memory_controller You want 8 DIMMs per socket. Two sockets means multiples of 16 DIMMs. That motherboard has 16 DIMM sockets, so for maximum memory performance you want to fill them all. Sixteen 16GB DIMMs would give you 256GB.Hi I would like to know what is the ram setup for this system,h11dsi nt o?with 8 and 16 GB ram stick!?
Thank you in advance!
An equal number per socket. Use the motherboard manual to determine the proper slots.Oh ty so much for responding!
But if I had 4x 8gb stick how would I plugged them?

How does 4 x 8GB from your previous post equal 24GB ? That would be 3x 8GB ...But if I have only 24 GB of RAM will it be ok?
One socket will work better than the other. The motherboard manual will show which DIMM slots to put one stick, 2 sticks, etc.Yes but I was going to buy a fourth one.
But I have on hand 3,will it work?
