[SOLVED] What ram should I use

Solution
Yea it's annoying because you would think if someone was going to buy a board of you you would put in the requirements

I found this guy on yt that puts in 1600mhz I think he said

You'd think, but ultimately the sellers have no need to. They're not there to provide support, nor achieve brand loyalty etc.... they're simply around to slap "X79" on boards and take your money.

As remix mentioned, 1333MHz is probably the best route to go, if you're doing this.

Given it almost certainly isn't truly utilizing X79 (it'll be a lower end chipset with additional features/compatibility added), I'd assume there won't be any ECC requirement for memory. However, you'll struggle to find any actual specs on that boards requirements/limitations.

Here's pretty much the same board, branded HUANANZHI - with very, very little info available.

Just a max of 8GB "DDR3 DIMM" per slot.

I would suggest using 1333mhz for better compatibility and only a small difference in performance.

It is difficult to say what will work.
These boards usually use B series chipsets making memory compatibility and overclocking bad.
Ok thanks for your help I'll go with the 1333mhz and I am not really into overclocking because I don't really high end game and if this system works out it probably just use it the same as my gaming rig for all around work and as well I think I can split it into 2 different workstations
