What ram to get for my x470 asus prime pro and 2700x

I want to buy the trydent z rgb ram but I am scared it wont work. The ones that are *for AMD ryzen* are 50 to 70 € more. So can I just get the normal cl15 or 16 3000Mhz modules?

there are multiple pdf's on the page above ^ but your processor is a 2nd generation Ryzen so be sure to select that one

as long as you pick a ram module ( or set of modules ) from that document you will be good to go

So I found this one on the qvl for second gen ryzen: cl16 3200 mhz 8x2 gb
F4-3200C16D-16GTZR
This means this ram is compatible?

It should as far as I can tell there may be better options out there on that i'm not sure

can't fault my CL14's, as in sig !
