What resolution is 3840x1080?

I'm thinking about buying the Samsung 49" C49HG90 but I don't understand if it's 4K or 1440p, the 3840x1080 reaolution confuses me.

It's a nonstandard 32:9 aspect ratio resolution. It's neither 4K ( 3840 x 2160 ) nor 1440p ( 2560 x 1440 ).

It's an ultrawide resolution which is nonstandard so it does not have a name.

It's called Dual HD. It's like to putting two 1920x1080 HD displays side by side

It's 3840×1080. Whether it has a name or not isn't going to give it some kind of special power.
