What Router Should I Get?

Hi,

I need to get a router. I like the idea of the r7000, but I have no need for it. I currently have no devices that support wireless AC. I just moved into a studio apartment and am getting a 25 Mbps, but I could easily upgrade to 105 Mbps if I am not happy with the speed. So, range is not that important to me, but I would like it to have 10/100/1000 ethernet. I plan on connecting my Xbox and a PC via ethernet, but my Wii U and laptop will be connected via wireless. I will do some streaming via my laptop. QoS is important to me because I will be gaming and streaming a lot. Other features would be nice too.

Does anyone have any suggestion? I was looking at the N56U, but I heard about Asus having an unpatched vulnerability. Should I be concerned about it?

Never heard of that brand (Netis) to be honest.

Stick with the name brands: Netgear, Linksys, ASUS, Buffalo, TP-Link.

What's your budget? If you stick with gigabit and dual band, you'll be good for years to come. Not many devices use wireless AC yet, and the speed really isn't necessary with the internet bandwidth you'll have.
