Question What sata ports should i use on asus rog strix b450 f gaming?

The motherboard manual doesn't tell me much. I have 6 sata ports and I have 2 cables I need to connect to the motherboard. Which ports should I use?

According to the manual page IX, if you have M2 SSD, don't use the SATA6G #5 and #6 ports, because M2 does share the bandwidth with those SATA ports. Otherwise you can use the one you want.

If using SATA drives, I always connect the OS drive in the lowest number SATA port, either 0 or 1. Just for consistency sake.
That will always appear in Disk Management (and elsewhere) as Disk 0.

Other drives can go wherever.
