What shall I upgrade?

Welcome PC enthusiasts!
I have a big question for you a few smaller. So lets get into it.
My Build currently looks like this:
MOBO: ASUS MAXIMUX VI Hero
CPU: Intel I7 4770K running at stock with a Corsair H60i Cooler
RAM : 8GB corsair vengeance 1866mhz (probably upgrading to 16)
GPU: MSI GTX 970 G1Gaming
SSD: Samsung evo 250GB
HDD: 1 TB Toshiba
PSU: probably noname I guess HKC 570W ish

SO, first of all, I want to upgrade my GPU + RAM + PSU . GPU to 1080 or 2070 and this is my first smaller question. My friend offered me a 8GB 2hand Asus strix 1080 for around 535$ it has warranty until 2020. Its a very good price in Hungary , a brand new Strix 1080 costs 928$ here.
Or I could go with the 2070 which is around 100$ above the 2hand 1080 I mentioned when bought as new. OR 2060 is even a competitor, only problem is not knowing what pricerange will it drop in hungary. So IF the 2060 drop below 500$ is it worth rather than the sh. 1080?

And the bigger question is : Is my root components (mobo, cpu) could still easily handle these? I've read that it probably should coz i7 4770K is way not outdated. Im just curious for some opinions and suggestions. And I never tried to OC my I7 so it could open new gates for me.

Thats a good deal your friend is giving you comparatively. You should torture test the card and take it if its in good condition...

Your PC should handle it easily... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17VRKPjyiTBx9Ewc2xkmaMZD2tA3gSOG3rNtH4OEiz3g/edit#gid=0

You should get a better PSU though. A 650w or above within Tier 3... https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/

Another 8gigs of the same RAM stick and you should be good for a long time.

Im finding 2hand 1080s below my friend price. I just found an MSI 1080 Gaming X with 2yrs of warranty for 490$ish price.
I love Msi more because I have had problems with my Asus 670. The main point is: ON the second hand market there are 1080s available at the price of 500$. So do you think that an 1080 secondhand is the way to go? or should I consider 2060-2070 ? I know that the laddering is like : 2060 < 1080 < 2070 and here a 2070 brand new is way cheaper than a 1080.
I could even think about 2070 second hand.

If you are willing to splash the extra for a new 2070 for near similar performance then its your call. 2070 used is a far cry for now as it has just been launched. Again, when going for used card, the condition of the card is more important than a few bucks up or down. And that you can only determine by torture testing the card.

and if it runs everything at those fps numbers which are represented in other benchmark videos on youtube for example, and it doesnt crash, so it wont bottleneck during a benchmark thats the sign of a good working card am I right?

is MSI Gaming X 1080 better than the Asus one? in their retail price they differ so much the asus strix one costs 200 bucks more when brand new. Which brand do you recommend? As far as MSI is concerned I havent had a problem with them.
