All my system parts will be arriving soon and i'm wondering what i should do after building my pc?
Apart from installing windows, drivers etc.. are there some tests i need to run to make sure my pc is working perfectly without making any calculation errors?? I heard u need to run a test like 24 hours... but that's kinda impossible for me because we always turn the power off at night for safety reasons..

Umm not really anything you need to do. If you were overclocking, there would be some stress tests. Just install games and destroy. If you run into issues, then you would perform tests to isolate the problem. Also, if you do a speed test (which really isn't' necessary) pick a server a few hundred miles away. There's little point to pick the same city as you live in. Over course the speed is going to be faster to your next door neighbor.

Thanks, well the internet speed test would be something i would do for sure.. i thought u had to run a stress test like u said for maybe 24 hours? i watched linus his pc build guide and he said u have to run that test to make sure there aren't any flaws ;p.. Once i start overclocking i think i'l be doing those stress tests.
Which program would u advice me?

That may be true but I've never done any testing for any of the computers I've built. Most parts have 30 day return policies and I suppose I've stressed out each PC within those 30 days with some software.

Well if you're going to be overclocking, you're going to need to read a OC Guide. That will explain everything (theory, software, temps etc). What CPU do you have?
