Hi, folks.

I want to install an IDE RAID 0 in my computer, but i am not sure what HDD's i should use. The primary objective is a silent stripe-set.
Fujitsu sells the so called silent drives but also MAXTOR and IBM sell very good HDD's.
I'd like to have following specs realized:
200+ GB HDD-space (4 HDD's), no extra cooling necessary and fast response time.
At the moment i've still got a 10k IBM DDYS U160-SCSI HDD in my machine and i can say that:
It's LOUD! Because the HDD spins like a tornado and the cooling gives my nerves the rest.

Damn you got money to burn :) Whatever you do don't buy Fujitus..they'll be dropping like flies from my experience.

And obviously keep your data backed up..if one goes, they all go..
