What should i get? budget

i ask my friends what should i change/upgrade and most of them said graphics card and motherboard. i am thinking of getting a motherboard around $1220 budget. they said get i7 but i am still a newbie when it comes to computer specs. give me some advices on what should i get or maybe i can get both and better with $1220. more like a computer set suitable for GAMING>ADOBE | vegas video editing and animations games like gta 4, cod 4, bf 4, new games today.
[set]im planning to buy it by parts because they said it cost cheaper than buying a set in the shop
so this is my build

*Intel Core i7-4930K(not sure which is better)
* 4770K

*AMD Radeon HD 7970
*GeForce GTX 780 Ti (though im still not sure of the price range it said $700)

i still dont know what should i buy psu, memory cards, monitor, motherboard and other parts if this kind of spec i am buying so please help me.

is that enough to be able to play high resolution games today? i dont mind if you suggest what i posted above

If you build gaming pc go with 4670k or 4770k. If you do not want OC then go with 4670 or Xeon 1230V3 + B-85 mobo.

4930k is best for editing and rendering. For gaming you do not need 6 core cpu.

For video card go with 7970 or GTX 780. Ti 780 is much more expensive so cheaper 770 or 780 is maybe better buy. Or maybe R9 290
