What should I get to improve my pc?

Hi I have a COMPUTER that i want to upgrade in order to play Skyrim and Rome II Total war at a good frame rate

Here are my current pc specs.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

AMD Athlon II X2 215 dual-core processor

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE Integrated

DVD-Super Multi Drive

500GB Hard Drive

4gb DDR 3 memory

Multi-in-One media card reader

emachines EL1352-01e

I would like to spend no more than $500

If you are spending $500 you would be better getting a complete new PC and re purposing this one into a 24/7 torrenting PC or a music center, movie center etc.

Do you know how much I could sell my computer for? and how well will the build in the link run Skyrim and Rome II Total war?
