I still have a USB driver problem as listed in this forum, (DRIVER PROBLEM ? any help please)

In my universal serial bus controllers section within my medion akoya computer windows 7 64bit - I find several items duplicated for example
standard enhanced pci to usb host controller.....x 2
standard open hcd usb host controller .....x 5
usb root hub.......x 7

PS may I appologise for posting this in capitals, just a simple error didnt mean to disregard toms rules ...sory

NOTE The device is a Kingstone Datatraveler and has allways worked correctly before on this an other computer. Even a new device shows up with this error now.

After a reboot I found all items enntered into the usb ports failed to work (only the mass storage devices where failing before).
Since the mouse connects via a USB port I was stuck!. Luckily I had an old mouse with the round green/& pin connectors and fortunatly this computer had available ports for this mouse & I have re set the Ousbfilter.bak to the original setting of usbfilter.sys and rebooted. The correct mouse is back in the USB port and is working ok but all mass storage devices continue to fail due signature verification- two entrys now appear in driver file details rather than the one shown above.

ANY SUGGESTIONS

All had been working correctly for some time
A malwarebyts full scan has shown nothing
A MacAfee full scan has shown up nothing

It may be worth noting that I became aware of this problem (relating to the USB ports - storage devices), after downloading Bearware. This may be just co incidence and the download has been deleeted as I attempted to find a reason for this error.

All and every help would be appreciated and is very welcome - although I am clearly not into computers I will follow advice correctly and accuratly but by way of simple clear and easy steps - thanks
