what should I replace my graphics card or cpu?

ok so I'm just recently returning to PC gaming and i would like to get an upgrade to my pc my pc runs mostly everything I play right now just fine at max settings and I play a bit of everything but Im trying to get for the new upcoming games and trying to get my pc to run DayZ better right now I get a bit of frame rate lag and I would like it to run better and at higher settings on DayZ currently I have an AMD fx 8350 AMD a gigabyte gets 770 4gb superclocked now I haven't updated my cpu or graphics card in a good 2 years but I haven't been playing much either well basically all I'm wondering is which one should I replace my cpu or graphics card to be able to run all the new games coming out this fall also which one should I update that wouldn't cause the other one to bottleneck either if I'm replacing my cpu I'm getting an Intel i7 6770k and a new mobo or if Im getting a new graphics card I'm thinking of getting the new gtx 1080 when it comes out thanks for the help in advance this really has me stuck 🙁

A new graphics card would be the answer if gaming is your main goal.
