I bought my gaming PC nearly three years ago, but I've only just started to move the majority of my gaming over to PC from consoles. Now I'm looking to upgrade my PC, but the problem is that I am not particularly tech savvy and don't really understand all the specs and jargon surrounding things like graphics cards and processors. So I'm looking for a little help with what components to upgrade.

Here is a list of my current specs:
-Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz
-RAM: 8GB
-Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series 1024MB GDDR5
-Monitor: Dell 24-inch FullHD 60Hz

A friend of mine recommended installing a SSD, but these seeem pretty expensive. Are they worth it?

If you could let me know what components I should be looking to replace and with what as well as a rough price estimation, that would be great. I'm looking to spend about $300.

There are many partners to the GPU makers AMD and Nvidia. All the partners make cards utilizing those GPU's and different versions with factory overclocks and aftermarket coolers. The site I linked to has market prices all major retailers so you can find the card you want the cheapest but each individual card should have the same specs everywhere.

I have a 750W built-in power supply. Searching for either of those GPUs through the link you posted each return several results all with slightly different specs and prices. Why is that?
