What should I upgrade in my PC?

My Current Specs:
i5-6600K (OC to 4.6GHz)
MSI Z170A M5
8GB DDR4 2400Mhz (OC to 2600Mhz)
Cryorig H5 Universal Cooler
GTX 1070 G1 Gaming
Corsair 650 Watt PSU
1TB Western Digital HDD

I edit a lot of videos, and so I was thinking of upgrading my i5-6600k to a i7-7700k. I already updated the bios on my motherboard so that shouldn't be an issue. However, I've seen my ram become an issue lately. So should I get 16GB of ram and some peripherals or an i7-7700k?

Games I play (From most to least):
- League of legends
- Minecraft
- Roblox
- CSGO
- Battlerite
- Rust
- Ark Survival Evolved
- Dirty Bomb
(I want to buy PUBG and Rainbow Six Siege after I upgrade)

I can speak for editing in Adobe. The key areas are (1) CPU power, (2) the speed of the application hard drive and the scratch hard drive, and (3) 16GB Ram.

So First - On the CPU, an upgrade for you would be to go from 4 cores to 6 cores. So I wouldn't suggest the 7700k. I think there's one I7 six core CPU that will fit that motherboard. If you're going to upgrade the CPU though, I'd really suggest spending an additional $150 and upgrade the motherboard to some version of the x99.

Second, a fantastic bang for the buck for editing would be to get a 128GB SSD and make that your boot drive, and install Windows and your editing software on it. And then add a 2nd hard drive - a 256GB SSD for example, to serve exclusively for scratch and media cache. You can get both drives refurbished on Ebay for probably $160 for the pair. This would be your biggest bang for the buck.

Third, if you can add Ram and fill up four sockets to make 16GB, than you can fully potentialize a CPU that has four bands for memory.

As I said, I can't speak for gaming, but I'm sure a CPU and Ram upgrade couldn't hurt there.

There is no 6-core CPU for Z170. That would require a new motherboard. The current price of the i7-7700K make it a good choice. But 16Gb of RAM is also nearing a necessity in a mid-high end system.
