What Should I upgrade next??

Hi Folks, This is my question to the Community.

I am in the process of building my gaming rig and have been doing so slowly over the past several months. I am just about at the point of saying i am finished but I want to do 2 more things. I can't afford to do both at the same time so I am asking you to help me decide which to do next.

Should I upgrade my Memory(16 gb at atleast 1600mhz) or should I get a 2nd GPU(xfx r9 270x) to crossfire? Thanks!

Here is my base system setup:

  Motherboard: Asus M5A99x Evo
  
  Memory: 14.0 GB(PNY 1033mhz)(7.8)
  
  Graphics: XFX AMD R9 270x(7.9)
  
  Hard disk: Samsung 840 Pro(128gb)(7.9)
  
  PSU: Apevia Warlock 750w

ps: I have a bunch of fans and other components that I didn't list.

id say sell your 270x and with the money youve already saved buy one powerful GPU. Crossfire really isnt as good as one single powerful gpu

I would pick GPU, you already have 14GB which is way more than needed for gaming but nice to have. Really only 8gb is needed.

Only reason i have 12gb is because a friend of mine gave me 2 sticks of 4gb for free and i already had 4 sticks of 2gb of ram.

This is true. I have way more memory than I technically need for gaming but It's only at 1033mhz, and I wasn't sure how important it was to upgrade the speed to atleast 1600mhz or 1866mhz...??

I am leaning toward the 2nd gpu but really not sure and i am not sure about ram speed and if that makes that much of a difference...
