I am planning to upgrade my computer with some new hardware. I was wondering, what should I upgrade and with what? Like if you suggested to upgrade my CPU, what type of CPU? A intel 15-4670k? (Just an example) My computer setup is this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8j8KsY

Thank You!

a r9 280 is more expensive than the r9 270x, you're just stating the obvious, that as the tiers go up, they get better?

The r9 270 is the r9 270x with a smaller TDP. You'll be able to achieve r9 270x speeds with a r9 270, but it's limiting cause of the single 6 pin cable requirement compared to the r9 270x's 2 6 pin requirements. The r9 270x will be able to get higher speeds because of that.

As for the prices, Mail in rebates will take forever to get back. By the time you get it back, it's proably 3-6 months down the line, maybe shorter depending on luck and what not.
