What slot does this video card go on my motherboard

I have an msi g43 z77a and i soon have a gtx 780 TI gaming, but what slot am i supposed to connect it with?

The blue one or the black one

Blue.

It won't fit in the black due to the notch and slot placement. The black slots on that motherboard are old-school PCI slots and not PCI express slots like the blue.

The blue one is PCIe, the blacks are PCI. Use the blue.

You will normally use the blue slot closest to the cpu.
It will not fit in the black pci slots
