What software should every gaming desktop have?

I recently purchased a computer, for gaming. I wanted to know what should my gaming desktop have? What is some software that every desktop in general should have to make sure my computer is properly maintained and running up to par,

Real time Antivirus. Firewall. On demand Antivirus. Defrag.

some hardware monitoring so that you know if/when your processor or graphics card are running at 100% capacity, so that you know what to upgrade down the line.

Good antivirus and firewall software with low overheads. I prefer Avast and malwarebytes.
You probably want hardware monitoring tools like CPU Z and GPU Z, especially if you plan to overclock.
For a HDD I'd recommend Auslogic disk defrag, but as I'm sure you know don't defrag a SSD.
If you're running a AMD graphics card, Radeon Pro is a must.
Otherwise I just use Windows regular tools and once in a blue moon do a fresh windows reinstall.

Since you're using Windows, you can also check out some of the Sysinternals tools.
