Not to sound repetitive, but the Samsung 860 and Crucial MX500 drives are the the go-to solid state drives. They are fast and proven reliable.
If you want to dip your toes into the land of NVME drives, the Intel 660p is a good option as well.
Do you know the 240gb A400 is actually dead? They aren't amazing drives, but mine has given me absolutely no issues.
A BSOD can be attributed to a lot of things, not just a failed drive.
