What standoff spacers and screws to buy?

Can't I just take all the existing ones out and replace them with those?

You could if the case's tapped holes match. (see above)
But, If the new standoffs are a different height than the original ones, the IO shield''s openings may not line up properly with the IO ports on the board.

Do you know the size of the ones in my Ranger-R8-Y case?

I have no idea. Most cases are made outside of the US, so the threads may be metric. Although many use the more standard 6-32 thread size. As far as the height of the standoffs, there are at least a couple different ones. You can order the ones you mentioned, and if they don't fit or are the wrong height, return them. If the height is OK but just the thread size is wrong, You can re-tap the holes in the case to fit the 6-32 ones you order.

How many of the original standoffs/screws do you have now?

I have like 6

If the board you decide on is another mATX, you may not need any more. If it an ATX board, some don't require the full 9. And leaving certain ones out won't hurt. Just don't leave one out where you press down or pull up often, like under the PCIe x16 slot. Any particular board in mind?

I already purchased a MSI z170a M5, which is an ATX motherboard. Do you know where I don't need to put some screws?

That's a full width ATX board. It might be best to use all the standoffs for that one, unfortunately. If you install the memory and CPU before putting the board in the case, you might leave the middle top one out. But that's not enough to help you.

Do you have a computer shop near you? Maybe even a Micro Center. If so, you could take one of your standoffs out and ask them if they have any of that thread size/pitch and that height.

Yes I do have a microcenter, I guess I'll do this. I wished I could get one without having to take apart my computer but I guess it's a must. Thanks anyways!
