Hello everyone, I am trying to get ready for college and need a portable, light weight, computer.
I do not plan on gaming on this, just college work, including programming, note taking, internet, skype, writing papers.

I have experience with the Windows Surface Pro 3, my GF has it and she loves it, it is a bit sluggish, but it's nice looking, and does what she needs. It was kind of expensive, and I was looking at the Surface pro 4, and they are even more expensive!

So I was hoping someone would be able to recommend me a nice alternative?
I need it to have:
Windows 10
Microsoft Office
11-13 inch screen
Light Weight
Decent battery Life 8hrs unplugged or more
Quiet
Good Build Quality
Decent Screen

Nice options would be:
Add more storage via sd card
USB Port
Maybe hdmi out / In

Thanks everyone for your time!

You are describing the Surface Pro 4.

And no, the SP3 is NOT sluggish at all. If it's slow, it's your GF's fault for adding garbage to it. I have three SP3 and an SP4 in my family, and not a single owner says anything but praise. I personally have used my SP3 for two years now, and not only is it amazing, but it even changed how I work. I have completely stopped using paper for anything, it's that good as a note taking device!

Match up? None at a lower price. The SP4 is actually very cheap for what you get, especially if you get it when it's $100 off (happens every once in a while). If you really need to save money, get the SP3, it's almost the same but generally $200-400 cheaper.
