just recieved my centurion 532 case. inside the bage with the screws etc, there is a small metal ring (about 2cm diameter) that has the texture of graphite, but is quite heavy.
i have no idea what this is for, so someone please take pity on my stupidity!!

Congratulations, you've just become engaged.....The ole "Buy a case, get engaged" trick.

JK.....no freaking idea. I didn't get one of those in my Coolermaster STC-T01 STacker case :(

....Are you sure you significant other didn't conspire with Coolermaster to plant an engagement ring in just YOUR case......and this is their way of .....ok nevermind.

You are either too young to get married, already married....or......tired of my own joke already.

I'd pm Coolermaster.

Youre not stupid!!!

I have seen these before (if i am picturing what you have correctly)
I think they are used to secure the many wires protruding for the front panel against one of the metal panels in the case. That is of course there is someting to attach it to in there or it is magnetic.

As it happens I have one in my box-o-crap. Not magnetic though. I remember it having all those wires wrapped around it.
