What to do after computer assembly?

Solution
Oh. Durr...excuse my stupidity. Of course you wouldn't be OC-ing with a 4670. In that case, are you sure you need a 212 EVO? The stock cooler should do just fine.

For most mobos you should be fine with letting the settings run as "Auto", just let the board handle things. As I said, you may have to tweak the timings on the memory depending on what kit you're using, but you probably won't run into problems so don't worry.
Your motherboard should have came with a CD with the drivers on it.
Better to go to the motherboards website and get the current drivers, but you can use the disk to get ethernet driver working if it is not.

You will want to get your video card driver straight from nvidia

I don't think so. Unless your memory has issues with timings, or you wanna OC right off the bat, etc.

Just go on the web and get all the drivers you need. I have a GT 640 so I would go and get a recent driver off geforce.com, get Intel RST (rapid storage technology) for my Intel SSD and maybe some other motherboard drivers if they were missing.

Maybe you should set AHCI before installing windows.

Ok would i still have to change to AHCI for the ssd? I chose the evo just because i've used stocks and there noisy. and how do i go about tweaking the memory?

Sorry for all the questions, Thanks

Yes, if it isn't already in AHCI mode, then yes change it. Don't worry about the memory, just make sure your BIOS displays it as running at the frequency and latency it's supposed to be running. For example, if you have an XMS3 kit of 1600, some people have reported that it will default to 1333 so changing it to 1600 will allow you to run it at the frequency it was meant to be run at.

Do you already have everything? If you still need the 300R, I'd recommend waiting for the 450D (it comes out tomorrow where I live). The AF140s and AF120 will probably provide much better airflow.
