Hi,

I have a corsair cs550m and would like to connect 2 fans to the PSU. The PSU is semi-modular and I have a couple of cables, one of them with 3 molex female and what seems to be a 4 pin female for fans - but i'm not quite sure how to use it.

It is similar to the cable in this picture(am I allowed to post?) the second from left to right.

Do I still need to buy a molex male adaptor - something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/15cm-Akasa-Fan-Cable-Fans-x/dp/B001J2YRU2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484729519&sr=8-3&keywords=molex+3pin+fan to be able to connect both fans to the PSU?

Thanks

Hi, I have a msi h110m with only one fan header. I bought a noctua fan 4pin which i intend to connect to the mobo and i have 2 phanteks fans 3pin (which came with the case) that i want to use as intake connected to psu.

13thmonkey i've googled fdd legacy cable and i am 99% that is what i have. I guess i wont be using it and i need to get a molex adapter to connect the fans to the psu
