so i have an sshd and all i had done was turn the computer on and had a flashdrive with windows 8.1 on it to boot. i installed it and it froze when it was installing windows, so i turned it off "this was after 12 hours of waiting" and it wouldnt really turn on, this is were im lost though. it turns on and stays on the loading windows screen... and i thought it was strange so i put it in my gaming rig and it turns out if i try and load, or look at or scan the drive everything freezes has anyone got a clue how i can fix this? im honestly confused what broke on install and most so what the heck is making it crash everything when i try and read it. i cant even see the drive when i plug it in its my h drive i believe and if i click it while my computer is trying to read it just the entire windows explorer process seizes up. 
any help would be nice
