Board will need 6 sata ports
Idk how sata express works.

I'm thinking the MAXIMUS vii ranger is best choice but it's more expensive than the Z97-A

Ranger and gaming 7 are better than the rest. You wouldnt lose much by taking Asus z97 A. H97 chipset removed possibility if sli and overclocking making it the worst option of the group.
