[SOLVED] What to plug in the hdd?

Hey, im new installing storage, but in short, i have an ssd with windows installed, that is my boot drive, i need more space so im installing a hdd on my desktop pc, the hdd has windows installed but im gonna reset everything from that hdd with cmd. But the hdd has 2 thin plug in areas and one is bigger, but i don't know what to put in the bigger slot, here are the pictures. Sorry if its a stupid question.

SATA data, that goes to a SATA port on the motherboard.
SATA power, that comes off a tap on the PSU.

What you have circled in blue is not needed. The other two cables that are attached is all you need.

alright, thankss! also, there are 2 of the longer slots, but only 1 of the smaller slot, why?

In your pic, the smaller cable is SATA data, the larger is SATA power.

Screws? Depends on the case and how this is situated.
An HDD really needs to be securely mounted.
