Hello,

Currently I have:

  • ■ i5 2500k - OC at 4.5 GHZ
    ■ EVGA GTX 770 SC
    ■ Corsair vengeance 2x4GB LP
I'm gaming a 1080p (not plans to upgrade for now), I'm currently playing most of all PUBG, GTA V, Witcher 3, Overwatch, Battlefield 1.
Due to budget constraints, I have only ~600$ to upgrade, so I was planning (GPU or CPU).

  • ■ EVGA GTX 1070 SC - $450 in amazon
or

  • ■ i7 7700k - $299
    ■ ASUS ROG Strix z270F - $149.99
    ■ 16GB RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX (3200 GHZ) - $160
What would you guys recommend me? I'm open to suggestions (e.g. AMD gtx 1070 equivalent). Thanks in advance!

Get the gtx 1070 first. you processor is still good for gaming no need to upgrade it now. get the lowest gtx 1070 available and oc it .dont spend more money for slightly high factory clock speeds and fancy coolers. these cards never gets above 65c even its cooled by single 90mm fans running above 85% Also add 8gb RAM

Bad news for you: your pc is well balanced. You will have a serious bottleneck, no matter what you get. In other words, you have to get both.

On the other side, i would go for the cpu upgrade, because that could give you more benefits, like better windows/office/media players/programming performance....it all depends on what you are usign ypur pc to.

Thanks for your response, I use my PC for 99% gaming only.
