What to upgrade first

Hi first post on here but read other peoples post for hours on end trying to gen up on gaming pc.
i want to start to upgrade my gaming rig but what should i upgrade first got moaning wife so will have to be upgraded over time not all at once. Also anyone who has the antec 300 case what is the best fan setup i have tried loads just interested what other peoples results are.

Id recomend a new CPU or GPU.

If you have a 2 core AMD, get a 4 or 6 core.

If you have a good 4 or 6 core, get a new GPU like the Radeon 68xx series or 78xx/79xx series. Or nvidia 6xx series.

Thats pretty good. Try overclocking that,

Also, being that thats good, I'd recomend a new gpu.

Just on doing a weeks worth of reading up on overclocking my cpu before i touch anything.
Would you sli the same card as i can pick one up cheap would it make much difference. Or should i
go for the gtx 570 / gtx580 have they got a good couple of years before that will need changing.

Sli'ing your current card would give you the preformance of a gtx570 (580 if OC'ed)
