What to upgrade next

So my specs are:

Mobo: ASRock H97m pro4
GPU:Sapphire Radeon r9 280x
RAM: 8 gigs
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650w GS
CPU: i5-4460
CASE: NZXT Source 210

i mostly just play games like league and csgo and gonna play overwatch, so any advice on anything that might need upgrading or whatever should be next to upgrade would help alot

No need to upgrade anything for the games you play. Don't know how many monitors you have but if you only have one maybe upgrade to a duel monitor setup.

you could get an SSD which would drastically reduce loading screen times in games, and overall make your PC much faster. (no ingame fps increase though unless your playing minecraft on 32 render distance 😛)

the next performance step up would be getting a gtx 1070 and you cold probably get a 1440p monitor, thats what im going to do most likely

i think he is just asking for what his next step would be in upgrading his PC and for upgrade ideas.

I wasn't sure, since I didn't know what he was unhappy with, or was he just anticipating Overwatch. Maybe he wants a different color scheme. I agree with an SSD if he doesn't have one. Most other upgrades involve changing cpu/mobo.

He could switch to a GTX 970, much better GPU performance over the R9 280x. Prices are down fairly nicely on the 970's with the impending 1070 and 1080 releases. Or just go right to the 1070.

Samsung 850 Pro/Evo depending on how much space you need or how much money you want to spend.
Samsung 850 EVO 1TB is nice if you need the space, i opted for the Samsung 850 Pro 512 GB myself.
500GB + would be recommended.

samsung 850 evo 500GB. If you need the extra space though than get the 1TB version. Currently its about 165$ because of sales for the 500GB version.

I even saw the 500GB for sale for one day for 150$ at best buy. For once best buy had a real "best buy" LOL

How much money are you willing to spend to upgrade. It is very easy to spend alot of money fast upgrading.

The onyl upgrade i can think of is gtx 1070 and 1440p monitor and SSD
