Hi there,

I already had an asus sabertooth z77, core i5 2500k, 4gb ddr3, 450w quality PSU.

I have 340$, I thing I have two option:

option 1:

buy a gtx 660ti with a 8GB RAM

option 2:

buy a gtx 760 with a 550w quality psu

what is the best option for gaming?

Solution
I think a 450w quality PSU is fine with a 2500k and GTX 760. Both running stock is only drawing 245w and OC'd maybe 300-310w. This quarters system builder $1300 PC only draws 338w full load with an OC'd 3570k and a GTX 680. If it were me i'd get the 760 and ram.

I mean if I buy a gtx 760, then I have to upgrade my psu from 450w to 550w

I will not overclock anything, when I did a power supply calculation it said the recommended is 364 to 436.

I don't have a SSD, also I don't have a blue ray drive, just a normal DVD-RW
