What to Upgrade

I need some advice. I have a Radeon HD 5970 and a Core i7 930 cpu. I am trying to play some newer games and am running into some problems. Which would be best to upgrade? I'd prefer to only spend between 200-250 to upgrade one. Thanks.

Get yourself a r9 280x or wait for prices to drop in when the r 300 series drops for amd

yea your cpu is still quite good. I would worry about it
