I have a gaming tower and I want to pack it for shipping. What does everyone use to to protect the outside of the tower case, especially the glass side? also what do you use to protect the inside of the case? I can't use instapak since they're expensive to buy. I watched various youtube videos and they use foam which usually come from original packaging but I don't have it since I threw mine in the bin

Yeah, you're going to have a hard time, but you learned a valuable lesson here - always keep the box and foam your case comes in.

Pull the GPU and pack it separately. Same thing with the heatsink on the CPU. It's that or instapak so they don't rip loose and destroy everything, and you said you aren't doing that. Then find a box that gives at least a couple inches of space around the case in all directions (including above and below it) and some closed cell foam... and pray, if you're in to that.
