Hey Friends,
I want to build a new Machine for 3D modelling and Rendering (Software 3ds Max). I have already GTX 970 4GB Video Card.
Help me for Rig a new Machine.

Thanks.

That's really a loaded question. No matter how I answer someone will disagree.

For your budget I'd go intel myself. I've had an FX8350 and I now have a i7 4770k. I render special effects with multiple tracks into a small encoded format and from my observations the intel is remarkably faster. That being said, it's also far more expensive. AMD processors look good on paper and they look good budget wise but I just dont see them performing as well as the Specs say they should.
You're going to want something with a really strong CPU. Something with a higher number of physical cores that are running at a higher speed. I'd also recommend getting a Solid State Drive for storing the files and rendering software itself. If you're looking for an actual recommendation on parts it helps to know what kind of a budget youll be working with.

For a budget like that, I would recommend either going with one of the higher end i7 processors from intels fourth generation, like an i7 3770k or for better future proofing you could go with an i5 from intels newer 6th generation. Something like the i5 6600k.

Depending on which way you go, youd then need a compatible motherboard. A LGA1150 for the 4th gen or LGA 1151 for the 6th gen.

for 3d modeling you need a strong cpu with as many threads as you can get for the money.
realistically the best option is to go xeon as you can pick up a 6 core for similar prices to the 4 core i5's if you shop around.
and if you pick a dual socket motherboard you have the option of pairing it with another 6 core later on.

sadly todays cpu's are still relatively weak when it comes to this kind of threaded workload and offloading to the gpu would be a better option but as of yet there isnt really a good gpu based rendering alternative.

vray is getting there but its still missing a lot of the features you get with the cpu renderer in 3dsmax

get the best you can afford is what im saying mate. even if it means you scrimp on other things like motherboard features and faster than native ram.

(faster than native, means ram thats faster then the cpu's memory management unit can handle natively, for intel thats 1600/1866)
