But i'm not sure if 6gb ram is enough.
I want more maybe 15 or even 32 but not sure what will work good with my video card and my board and the cpu.

The idea is to be able to run and play gta v.
Now the game is stuttering and not smooth even on lowest resolution and lowest graphics.

I wonder what do i need to change/add to my system to make the game to work not on ultra settings but good enough to play ?

Solution
Well your Mobo supports up to 16 gb's of RAM, but the QVL (Qualified Vendors List) is quite small. You could possibly add another 2 gb stick of RAM to get to 8 gb's, but I think you have other issues other than RAM that is possibly causing your FPS drops.

Things we need to know, in order to help you further:
* What are your complete specifications of system?
* I'm guessing that your PSU is having issues supplying the proper power for your parts, but that is just a guess at this point.
* 6 gb's of RAM might be part of your issue, but you should make sure the RAM are installed into the correct slots to get the most out of them. The MANUAL says that you need to be in slots 1, 2, & 4 for triple channel operation. I would make sure...
6gb RAM is ok, 8 would be better for new games. Its the CPU thats the weak point of your build, I would recommend getting a new one, or OC'ing that one up to 3.4Ghz if you can.

Here is a list of compatible CPU's for your Mboard, it looks like an i7-990X is the best you can get, again you could try OC'ing this one up to 4Ghz and things will run much better.

The i7 920 CPU is socket 1366, so the i7 990X isn't going to be cheap (~$700+ from the quick look I did). I'm not sure the 920 is that weak as you depict it, but it is definitely a bit aged by today's standards. He would be better off with a i5/i7 on socket 1050 and possibly using his RAM too. Hell he could get an i5 4460 for ~$180-ish and a B85, H97, or Z97 Mobo for around $70-100 and be good too.

ouch! sorry didn't realise that, I'm an AMD man :vip:
