Hey everyone I am currently wondering what is my best upgrade from a Corsair CX500 psu for my build.
I have a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX Mobo
AMD FX8150 @3.9ghz
8GB Corsair XMS3 1600mhz
Crossfire Gigabyte Radeon HD 5770

I believe I am not getting enough juice to power my crossfire, they are not performing as well, thanks.

oh yeah, even though i have not run ATI/AMD cards inXfire, from my understanding sometimes you need to do some voodoo to get it going properly (sacrificing a chicken not necessary). maybe inquire in the graphics section if no one pops up here.

i am confident you're not having...
those 5770s use ~90 watts each so you're not overloading that PSU. though the CX series is more of a budget PSU it ought to handle that fine - and really if you are trying to draw too much power from it, the system will shut down.

not getting good performance sounds more like a driver issue.

Would that be a reason for my second 5770 to be clocking under 150mhz while my first one is running correctly?

Its cause most stuff u do arent optimised for dual gpu. So basicly 1 still does all the work and the other just do abit.
In some games, u get lower fps on crossfire than single card...
